Proline manufactures one of the most comprehensive series of pumps in the small dredge industry today. These are high performance centrifugal pumps designed specifically for operating our dredges and dual-purpose machines. First, they are cast in the US from high quality aluminum then heat treated to a “T-6” hardness for years of service. Each part is then machined on computer controlled equipment to maintain the exact tolerances required for optimum performance. Proline pumps are 5-vane and 6-vane “aggressive bite” impellers with large intake throats to provide high volume with working pressure greater than normally found on pumps of this type. They are hand-assembled using US made seals and grade 8 hardware. The quality and performance of these units, when coupled with Proline’s efficient jetting systems, offers outstanding dredge vacuum, very little required service, and long life.

The two triple row spray bars ensure that all of the gravel, clay, roots, etc. are thoroughly washed and separated before running through the recovery system. The grizzley is designed to be strong yet surprisingly lightweight. Like all of our other grizzleys, it is removable to allow for easy access to the classifier and black “V” ribbed matting for inspection and/or cleanup. Also, if the combo is going to be operated solely as a dredge, the grizzley can be removed to save weight.

The unit is powered by a Honda GX160 engine and Proline’s powerful HP300 pump. This is a higher pressure pump designed specifically for pushing water higher and further, making it ideal for high-banking. Proline supplies 15 feet of dredge hose standard, however, many customers upgrade to a longer hose.

Our use of a power jet provides maximum dredge vacuum with fewer rock jams compared to combos that rely in the old-fashioned, cumbersome, suction nozzles. This combo can be equipped with an air compressor kit, just like our 3″ dredge, if you wish to increase your dredging productivity. It’s no surprise that the Proline 3″ combo has seen such wide popularity with prospecting clubs, exploration companies, and miners who require a very versatile machine in a small, rugged package.

This combo falls halfway in size between the 2″ and 3″ models and has incorporated some features from both of them. For example, the stand and legs are longer, but made out of the same size material as the 2″ combo for weight savings. The polyethylene plastic hopper has been reinforced just like the 3″ unit, and the riffles have a stiffening rod on them to ensure a longer life and the sluice box is made of the same thickness of aluminum as the 3″combo making for a very strong unit.

Powered by a Honda GX120 engine and our HP200 pump, this is by far the most powerful 2.5″ combo available anywhere. The HP200 was developed for high volume as well as the working pressure necessary for successful high-banking. This pump was also one of the first of its size which was engineered to be capable of driving an air compressor while still maintaining ample suction power.

This model is equipped with pontoons that have increased stability over previous models, while remaining compact and lightweight. The frame remains essentially the same as previous models. It’s a sturdy bolt together design which allows the dredge to be disassembled into smaller components for ease of transport. Assembly requires only a few hand tools.

The dredge is equipped with the Honda GX200 engine and HP400 pump. This dredge is equipped with Proline’s “sure-flow” coupler, which essentially, eliminates all surface rock jams. Proline’s unique one piece jet/flare assembly not only reduces down time caused by rock jams, is extremely light, and outlasts conventional steel jets by four to five times!

This dredge uses the highly acclaimed “wave classifier” which is proven to greatly enhance fine gold recovery by eliminating the problems associated with processing low grade sand. The classifier develops a pulsing, or “jigging,” action which prevents the dredged material from loading up under it. By shedding the low grade particles, the fine gold can drop out of suspension earlier and accumulate under the classifier where it is safe from the turbulence and disturbance caused by the larger rocks traveling through the sluice. The rear portion of the sluice box utilizes “Hungarian” riffles for maximum efficiency and the dredge is equipped with Nomad matting for the ultimate in fine gold recovery. No other 4″ dredge even comes close.
